U.S. WW2 Army Cartridge Belt

U.S. WW2 Army ammo cartridge belt. Klikit Pull star marked tabs. Belt has the charger retaining straps in each pocket. Marker mark and date very faded and cannot make out. Very heavily worn and used condition.

Additional Notes:
Charger retaining straps were used on pockets of pre-1917 production and deleted in 1917. However, they were re-introducted on the M1923 belts and again were deleted by the end of WW2. The strap was utilized to prevent the loss of the front charger when the rear one was being removed for use.
