|U.S. Army Officer Field Utility Shirt - Late 60s|
U.S. Army officer field utility shirt. Two pocket field shirt. Has shoulder sleeve inignia on each sleeve. On one sleeve has a 1st armored Old Ironsides patch. On the other sleeve, a 4th division patch. Also, has a paratrooper cloth wing above the U.S. Army name strip. On the collar has Lieutenant cloth rank insignia and a Air Defense Artillery insignia. Tag on lower interior marked with Contract No. 8237. Tag in neck area size marked 15 1/2 X 31. Average worn and used condition and appears to have been dry cleaned with starch. Vietnam late 1960s era.
Additional Notes: Utility shirts were worn with white name tape and Gold "US ARMY" tape from mid-1953 through mid-1966 and then all the tapes were black on green.
